What Is The Difference Between the 2 main diets?

Processed Food-

  1. Processed foods have been altered from their natural state for safety reasons and for convenience.But most of the nutrients are destroyed in the process of making processed food.
  2. It usually lacks of dietary fibre but I may contain large amounts of fats and sugars and also it contains added chemicals like sodium.

  3. Processed foods are considered junk food also as it is unhealthy.Though it's cheap in supermarket,it is still unhealthy.
'Health conscious' diet-

  • It is considered fresh foods as salads,fruits,vegetables are grown naturally,chemical is not needed

  • Therefore,they are fresh considered to processed foods,they contain a lot of nutrients when it is eaten in its unprocessed form.For example,raw fruits contain more vitamins and minerals than canned fruits.
  • It usually has plenty of dietary fibre due to the consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • It took longer time than processed food and cannot kept long for too long as it will spoil,but it is much more healthier than consuming processed foods.
